PriorityOne Group is celebrating National Healthcare Volunteer Week, which takes place April 10-16.
According to the Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals, President Richard Nixon established the week with an executive order in 1974 to recognize and celebrate the efforts of volunteers. The week has now become a nationwide effort to encourage people to volunteer in their communities.
P1 participates in numerous community service activities throughout the New York/New Jersey metro area, including St. Joseph's Children's Hospital's Cooking for Kids, Federation of Organizations, Toys for Tots, No Shave November, Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Friends of Karen.
On behalf of P1, we thank all healthcare volunteers for giving their time to help others in an industry that we proudly serve.
